Vitamins:
- Celebrate: There are lots of options when it comes to vitamins but I appreciate how much extra Celebrate throws in.
Protein:
- Premier Protein: This is great because there are 30g of protein per serving. I usually have the powder in the house, but we also buy the ready made if we're going on a road trip.
- Pure Protein: Another great option. This is by far the most affordable option (last purchase in July 2017 from Walmart was $18 for 29 servings). It has 25g of protein per serving.
- Vega One: This protein has 5-6 servings of vegetables in addition to 20g of protein. Those first few weeks after surgery were tough ones to get veggies in and this helped a lot.
- Quest makes protein bars and protein chips that are great. Its a different way to get protein in if you're done with the shakes (and you're allowed to move on)
Hydration Help:
- Propel is a zero calorie drink that comes ready made, or in a powder. It is great to replace electrolytes that can be lost in sweat
- Powerade Zero is similar to Propel. Propel advertises as a water, whereas Powerade Zero looks and tastes more like the sports drink you might prefer.
